WHERE DOES YOUR HAIR COME FROM?

 

Glam Rock Couture's luxurious, 6 star quality hair is of Brazilian, Peruvian, Indian, Malaysian or Eurasian decent in natural colors ranging from black to dark brown and is available in an array of natural textures.  This hair is virgin hair (neither colored nor chemically treated).  After it has been collected, the raw hair is hand-sorted, hair by hair, in an elaborate and labor-intensive process. The hair must be hand processed, strand by strand to ensure that all cuticles are facing in the same direction.  This type of hair is called Remy and ensures a smooth, luxurious finish to the hair, just as it grows out of the head.  Our hair is also double drawn which means that the hair is just as thick and full at the bottom as it is at the top.  This process of hand-selection takes about 10 days for an average hair extension. Hundreds of hands ensure that our product meets our standard of perfect quality and highest satisfaction. 

 

Glam Rock Couture Extensions are the absolute indulgence in hair extensions because they have not been chemically lightened and therefore have retained their perfectly elastic surface.  Because our hair is of virgin decent, it is of the highest quality hair available on the market. This is very important because Glam Rock Couture Extensions can be worn for up to two years with proper care and treatment of the hair.

 

WHAT COLORS IS THE HAIR AVAILABLE IN?

 

We offer 2 different types of hair products: Processed Blonde & Virgin

 

If you choose a blonde, red, fashion color, highlighted or Ombre colored hair, this hair must be chemically processed.  The hair is still of the highest quality, but once a process is completed, it is no longer considered virgin.  We do accept custom color orders on any of our products so that you may choose a color of your specification.  For some, however, it may be easier to order the hair in a natural or solid color and have your stylist more accurately match it to your own color after you receive it.

 

If you choose virgin hair, it has never been chemically colored or processed and will be in it’s most natural state as collected.  It will range from black to dark brown and can be colored over and over just like your own hair.

 

Many companies offer their hair extension products in a wide array of color ranges.  Glam Rock Couture Extensions does not offer factory colored hair, at this time.  The reason is to offer the highest quality product at the best price.  Instead of purchasing a color to match your hair now and then re-purchasing a new color when you change your hair, our products are made so that you can change them just like your own hair.  This means there is no need to purchase new extensions each time you color your hair.  Your initial investment into a higher quality product will save you more money in the long run.

 

However, our tape /skin weft, beaded weft, fusions and mircolink individual extensions are available in precolored options.



DO YOU CUSTOM COLOR HAIR?

 

Yes, we accept orders for custom colors at an additional charge.  Solid colors will be charged an additional $25.  Highlights or Ombre will be charged an additional $50-75.  Please allow up to 3 additional days for color processing.

 

HOW LONG WILL THE HAIR LAST?

 

Depending on your care and upkeep of the hair, it can last up to 2 years.  Keep in mind that it is human hair and use of chemicals, heat tools and products will damage it just like your own.

 

CAN I TREAT THE HAIR LIKE MY OWN?

 

Yes!  The hair is 100% Remy human hair.  It can be cut, colored and heat styled just like your own hair.  Please keep in mind that this means that the hair is also easily damaged like your own hair.  Keep in mind to use products to protect the hair as much as possible. 

 

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY EXTENSIONS?

 

Depending upon your color and length required, if your selections are in stock, the hair will be shipped within 2 business days after your payment is processed.  However, because we provide only the highest quality hair, if your selection is not in stock, it may take up to 2 weeks to process your order, worst case.  Someone will notify you via email, if this should happen. Your hair must be processed to the greatest standards and can take up to 5 days to do so before shipping.  Once the item is processed and shipped, it may take 3-7 days depending on location and carrier circumstance.  Rush shipping and insurance is available at an additional rate.

 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

 

Yes, we ship worldwide!  Your order will ship via USPS Express Mail at a flat rate of $25.  A tracking number will be emailed to the address on your order.  Please note that International orders may incur import duties or local taxes which may vary per country.  We are not responsible for those fees.  So you may want to contact your country’s customs office or tax agent for most recent and accurate information.

 

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

 

Unfortunately, due to the fact that this is a custom made, human hair product, for health concerns and sanitary purposes, we do not accept returns on our products.  We maintain tracking on all of our shipments and delivery will be confirmed.  Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged packages.  The USPS is responsible for all packages after shipping.  You may contact them directly for any questions or claims.  If you wish to add insurance coverage, please email us so that we may address your concerns PRIOR to shipping as insurance must be purchased at the time the shipment is made.

 

For all products and apparel, return for exchange may be made for unused/unworn products.  You must notify our company within 24 hours of receiving your shipment to acknowledge your concerns.  Once return is authorized by our company, you are responsible for return shipping to get the products back to us.  Exchange or credit may be made for product of equal or greater value.  We do not offer refunds.  All Promotional/Sale items are NON-REFUNDABLE!  All custom items are FINAL SALE!  NO EXCEPTIONS!
